Using shots and camera angles I have learned from previously researching aspects of cinematography, I went out with my camera and shot some horror scenes, later applying music I had made myself on Garageband and then uploaded onto Soundcloud. I didn't apply as much effort into shooting the scenes as the music, as I wanted the focus to be more on the music I created myself. The music is comprised of the string instruments provided in Garageband, however I chose to create the notes and music myself as I wanted to brand this video as truly my own. This video is just a quick response to the music portrayed in most horror films, and I plan on creating another blog post that focuses more on the technicalities of filming the shots of horror scenes. When using music for my opening scene, I will most likely stick to the use of string instruments, as I feel the strings properly convey the right requirements needed to build up tension in horror scenes.
