After having filmed my preliminary task, I found the location was not as important seen as the filming was at night and in cars. However, it was important that looking outside of the car windows, the location outside was scary and complied with the tone of fear comprised of my horror scene. Next time when I am filming for my opening scene, I intend for the location to play more of a role, hence I will be planning locations for my opening scene some time in advance and attempt a few shots in the location beforehand, to see what tone the location conveys over camera.
