James Wan
James Wan is a famous horror director, best known for creating the conjuring universe and films like Lights out and The Nun. I decided to choose James Wan as the title director for my film as I am very familiar with his presence within the horror film industry. His film Lights Out, was very original to me and I appreciated the niche aspect of the plot. Equally, the Nun was a very hyped up film and the opening scene was very effective and tense, something which I hope to achieve in my own opening scene. He is also the creator of Atomic Monkey productions, which is the production company I intend to use in the introduction of my opening scene, along with the film title and production logo sequence. Having a credited director at the beginning of my opening scene will help establish a formality for my opening scene, and add to the horror atmosphere I intend to maintain throughout my opening scene.
