Prior to any filming, I created a production plan in order to organize all the equipment and dates that I will need. This was helpful in establishing a time line for all my filming and editing, allowing for me to grasp the amount and time I would need to allocate myself ahead of any filming. Adding dates to filming equally eased the process of producing consent forms, as I had dates that I could provide for my possible interviewees, which also ensured that I knew the availability of the people I would need. In addition, listing the equipment I needed and have was helpful, as it gave me a chance to plan ahead and obtain the equipment I needed for filming, as well as giving me time to find and test the equipment I already have. Following this blog, I will produce my consent forms and illustrate that in my next blog.
