FEEDBACK ON DOCUMENTARY INTRO

After editing the beginning of my rough cut and sending it off for feedback, I received some helpful criticisms for the beginning of my documentary. I was advised that music was a bit generic and was not successful in engaging the viewer especially for a BBCIII documentary. Equally, there were a few shots that did not suit the voice overs so i was advised to overlay footage that is relevant to the narration and my beginning sequence does not necessarily relate to the title of 'masked migrants'. Upon this feedback, I will make changes accordingly and create an introduction that is relevant to the title of being a 'masked migrant'. My ideas behind the title are relevant to the crisis of identity that young international students face, mad the problems with alienation and isolation they face studying in the UK. I will aim to then create my intro and all 5 minutes of my documentary to then reflect these ideas and create a sense of relevancy for everything included in the final cut of my documentary.
