Today was the filming of my second interview, which went better than my first interview. Ahead of filming my second interview, I story-boarded many shots and drafted many interview questions that would link to the narrative structure of my documentary. Ahead of filming, I made sure that all of my equipment was in appropriate condition and that my camera was charged and ready. Equally, I scouted the locations for all of my filming, which allowed me to be efficient in managing my time. I looked into some creative shots including mirrors and identity that I could refer to in my own documentary, and I then story-boarded those shot ideas to include. I planned my interview questions in order to relate both of my interviewees and create narrative structure. The filming went very well, my interviewee was relatively comfortable on camera, so the interview appeared natural and authentic. However, I faced some challenges with creating a specific mirror shot, as it was very complicated and required more advanced equipment than I had available. I filmed the shot, however it appears to lack some quality so I am hesitant on including it in my documentary.
