FEEDBACK ON SECOND DRAFT OF CRITICAL REFLECTION

After correcting my first draft of my critical reflection, I received further feedback on how to make my critical reflection as accurate as possible. There was basic criticisms on grammar and capital letters that can be easily corrected. In my first paragraph when I am discussing challenging conventions, I was advised to list some of the traditional conventions of documentaries, as I did not go into detail on what they are. Equally, I was advised to be more clear on what I am referencing when talking about representations in my documentary, as it was questioned whether I was referencing international students only or immigrants in a broader sense. This is a common criticism with my documentary, which is something that I am confident to correct. My documentary discusses bias towards immigrants, but focuses specifically on international students and the impacts of cultural changes on them. I will include this in my correction of my second draft, as well as the other feedback included in my second draft of my critical reflection. My next steps will be to complete my critical reflection and upload a final draft onto my blog.
