Researching Grierson has added another revolutionary documentary film-maker to to my list of inspirational pieces of work. Grierson's incorporation of music is niche compared to the other documentary film-makers I have researched, with the outcome being incredibly moving. My analysis of John Grierson focused mainly on his contribution to 'Night mail', which has inspired me to be as creative with my own documentary to come, through the incorporation of music, and even other creative avenues such as the poem that was included in 'Night mail'.
