Following all my research on documentaries and revolutionary documentary film makers, I have produced a simple and quick mind-map, discussing some documentary ideas and the possible routes I could take my documentary down. After researching Bill Nichols and researching examples of each mode of documentaries, I have found that the reflexive documentary mode seems the most interesting to me. I intend to review significantly more mockumentaries from this, and research the typical does and conventions of mockumentaries, as well as notes from directors and producer's of documentaries. I have been toying with some mockumentary ideas, and will produce a survey for people to decide what mockumentary idea sounds best and most interesting.
