My first draft of my documentary will be titled, 'love beyond borders', and will refer to the life of people who live abroad from their families. This is prior to the feedback I will receive from my teacher, so I expect that I will need to adapt my idea further. After obtaining some feedback on the idea from some friends and family, it is encouraged that I create an angle for my documentary, however I will make adaptions once I receive feedback on my pitch from my teacher. I aim for my documentary to associate with documentaries that are typically broad-casted by BBC3, and hence I will adapt some choices for my documentary to suit that demographic and target audience. This is a first draft, so I expect my documentary idea to change, however I now know the basic idea of what my documentary will depict and I can set to finding interviewees and locations that could possibly be appropriate for my documentary.
