FILMING PRELIMINARY TASK

After ensuring that my group and I had finalized our questions and were ready to conduct our interview, we went straight in to setting up our interview environment. Before we started interviewing on camera, we split into our designated roles, and started setting up the lighting and cameras, as well as talking to our interviewee, ensuring that he was comfortable and open to talk. I was assigned to be the camera operator for my group, so my job was to ensure that the shots we were filming were adequate and that the eye line of the interviewee was relatively close to the camera when they were talking to our interviewer. The filming process went quite well, there was only some slight problems. One of the issues we faced was that there was a problem with one of the microphones, however we resolved this by using the microphone attached to the camera. Another problem was that sometimes our interviewee wouldn't repeat the question, so we had to restart the question again, and this issue also arose when one of our cameras stopped recording, we had to get our interviewee to restart his answer from the beginning.
