After editing my first draft on Premier Pro, I uploaded my first rough cut of the interview and reflected upon that through some feedback. Throughout the editing of the interview, I ran into many altercations within Premier Pro. Having had little experience prior to editing in Premier Pro, my first problem arrived when I tried to upload my videos onto the track, however only the audio would be applied. I watched many tutorials on how to fix this problem and then moved onto adding in the green screen and cutting the clips so that the interview is relevant to the questions asked. I equally found some hardship in finding how to add the green screen, however after researching it, and finding an image to apply to the green screen I became relatively comfortable with the green screen effect. The feedback I received has encouraged me to add captions introducing the interviewee, and adding the questions onto a black screen in order to make the recorded answers make sense. My next blog will feature an analysis of my rough cut interview, with feedback from my peers allowing me to adapt my edit and improve it.
