For my preliminary task I am conducting an interview with some of my class mates. The process of my preliminary task will span over the course of preparing for the interview, the interview itself and post interview. I will research into the techniques of conducting efficient interviews, and how to make the interviewee comfortable enough, that the answers to my questions will be appropriate and in depth. Researching and conducting my own interview will help me in my own documentary journey, as I will learn how to make my documentary as efficient as possible, through interviews. As my preliminary task continues, I will produce more blogs in the process leading up to and after the interview. These pictures show myself and my group researching into some of the questions we will ask our interviewee, who is going to be discussing carp fishing. One of the main challenges was creating questions that were interesting, as the subject matter of the interviewee could be classes as not exactly exciting.
