RESPONSE TO MR ARMSTRONG'S FEEDBACK

After sending our draft questions to our experienced media teacher, we received some feedback. The first question we drafted was too simplistic, and we needed to enable our subject to paint a picture with his answer, so we adapted our question to determine that our interviewee would answer the question of 'what is carp fishing' in a way that is personal to him. Our second question seemed fine, so we continued with how it was, ensuring that the answers we received were personal and emotional. The third and fourth question were reportedly too similar, so we combined the two questions together, in order to achieve one question that would evoke some sort of strong emotion from our interviewee. We were then suggested another question, which would allow our interviewee to finish the interview on a happy, personal note, hence we decided that the fourth question would be 'what our interviewee gets from carp fishing' and to lead on from that, our final question would be if our interviewee 'would like a career in carp fishing', which ensures that our interviewee would finish with a humanized depiction of our interviewee and carp fishing.
